چکیده
The kinetics of irreversible annihilation of charged particles performing overdamped motion induced by long-range interaction force, F (r) ∼ r −λ , is investigated. The system exhibits rich kinetic behaviors depending on the force exponent λ. In one dimension we find that the densities decay as t −1/(2+λ) and t −1/(1+2λ) when λ > 1 and 1/2 < λ < 1, respectively , with logarithmic correction at λ = 1. For λ ≤ 1/2, the asymptotic behavior is shown to be dependent on system size.

In this paper, we investigate the multiplicity of charged particles in e+ e– annihilation by using different models. To achieve this we first fit the multiplicity distribution of charged particles in the energy range of 54-57 GeV by using both the Poisson distribution and KNO scaling, then we compare these results with multiplicity distribution at the lower energies. This comparison shows that...
متن کاملSinglet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space
In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered, but our information about the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...
متن کاملAntihydrogen annihilation reconstruction with the ALPHA silicon detector
The ALPHA experiment has succeeded in trapping antihydrogen, a major milestone on the road to spectroscopic comparisons of antihydrogen with hydrogen. An annihilation vertex detector, which determines the time and position of antiproton annihilations, has been central to this achievement. This detector, an array of double-sided silicon microstrip detector modules arranged in three concentric cy...
متن کاملStudy of noncollinear two-charged-particle events produced in 29-GeV electron-positron annihilation.
This paper presents a study of events produced in 29 GeV electron-positron annihilation in which there are just two non-collinear charged particles, no detected photons, and two or more undetected particles. These events can be explained by attributing them primarily to the reactions e+e+ e+e-e+eand e+e--+ e+e-p+pwhere just two particles appear in the Mark II detector. There is no evidence for ...
